The Land Auction approaches! It will follow the massive City vs City CTF
on Saturday, May 19th. The CTF begins at 8pm GMT and will last for 2
hours. The Land Auction will follow after, where 7 out-of-subdivision
plots upon which houses can be built (albeit at double cost of building
in a subdivision). To answer some questions that have arisen:

- Bids will begin at 100,000gp for each plot. If you wish to place a
bid, you must be able to bid at least 20,000gp higher than the
current bid.

- Organisations may not bid, only individuals.

- If you cannot be at the auction and wish to have a proxy bid for you,
that will have to be arranged between yourselves. So if you're giving
millions of gold to someone to bid for you and transfer the plot to
you later (and yes, that is possible), be sure that you completely
trust this person! We're not going to enforce it for you.

And finally, here is a list of the 7 plots that will be up for auction:

- A new room off "Cliff overlook" near Riparium.
* Spectacular ocean view!

- "Granite hills near the Urubamba's source"
* High altitude off a babbling brook.

- A new room off "Nearing the Zaphar River" by Adryn's Keep.

- "Peaceful valley" - in the Sangre plains.
* Tranquil, centrally located.

- A new room off "A jungle canopy on a river bank" in the Dun Valley.
* Lush jungle.

- "The foot of a waterfall" a lovely spot in the Southern Vashnars.
(this replaces the earlier offering "Place of many pines.")

- "A tropical island beach" in New Hope.
* Sip rum cocktails beneath the palm trees!

The order of plots auctioned will not necessarily be in the order as
listed above.
