The Year 450 XP Competition is in progress! It will last until 7pm GMT
Sunday, May 13th. A few notes on this event:

- You win by gaining the most XP in those 24 hours, whether through
questing or bashing or a combination of both. XPEVENT RANKINGS will show
you the winners during the event.
- You can XPEVENT JOIN at any time until 7pm GMT if you have not
previously joined. You can leave the competition with XPEVENT QUIT, but
if you quit the event, you cannot rejoin. Don't worry, logging off won't
kick you out of the event.
- The names of those in the event will show up in bold cyan (#14 in
CONFIG COLOUR).
- XPEVENT RANKINGS will display the current standings.
- Those in the XP Competition are FREE PK to all others who have joined
the event. PK cause is neither lost nor gained for any PK between event
participants during the competition. You will neither lose nor gain xp
from PKing or being PKd by other players. You will lose xp from dying to
denizens and creatures as normal (though not to loyal entities). If you
deliberately try to make people lose xp by, for example, dropping them
in the Pit or purposefully leading aggressive denizens to them, you will
be punished.
- Any combat advantages you gain on someone during the XP Competition
must be relinquished once the competition is over. So do not, for
example, make a vodun doll of someone during the event while you're both
free PK, then hold on to it afterwards!
- Bonuses to xp, such as the Effigy of Victory and the Mark bonuses,
will not count for the scoring in this event, although you will
personally still gain xp as normal, i.e. with the bonuses.
- Dragons will still gain less xp while in dragonform, both for personal
xp gain and for scoring.
