There's been a rash of character hacking attempts reported last night
and tonight, with those reporting (around 7-8 people) having had around
2000 hacking attempts each on their accounts. This could be the result
of an automated brute force attack, also known as a dictionary attack,
where words from the dictionary are tried as passwords over and over
again with an automated tool until one matches.

I would advise everyone to make certain that your passwords are safer
ones. HELP HACKING will tell you more about how to make sure your

(name, birthdate, email address) are current and valid.
