The grand prizes for the overall winner of the Y450 Championship Games
and the Year 450 Lottery have been finalised!

In the past, we have offered choices between a sum of credits and a more
physically tangible prize, such as game consoles. (For Year 400, you
might recall, we offered a Sony PSP as the lottery grand prize and an
Xbox 360 as the Championship Games prize.) However, we've come to
believe that you, our players, would prefer having a more flexible
choice. Thus, the grand prizes for both the Championship Games and the
Lottery for Year 450 will be a choice between credits and good
old-fashioned cash. That way, if you want a game console, you can
purchase one. Or, if you decide what you really want to do with your
prize money is to purchase building materials to raise a giant,
real-life effigy of Clementius in your front yard, you can do that too!
(You know you want to.)

So, on to the prizes!

The holder of the Year 450 Lottery grand prize ticket shall win a choice
of $500.00 USD or 2000 credits.

The Year 450 Champion, overall winner in all the Championship Games,
shall win a choice of $700.00 USD or 2500 credits.

There will be separate, smaller credit prizes given to those who place
within the top ten in each of the Championship Games, as well as those
who place in the top ten overall scorers at the end of the Games. There
will be many opportunities to win, for those who dare to compete.
