Kudos to the great Prospero, whose work comprises much of what
we are now calling the new Messaging system. This is excellent
work on his part, with a few little goodies tacked on to what
was really a beautiful system from the beginning.

Now to business: we'll be starting the conversion to the new
system in a short time (read: a few minutes).

During this time, we will probably experience mild slowness for
somewhere in the vicinity of 30-40 real life minutes. It's hard
to say for sure though, and it could be much faster.

Messaging commands of all kinds will be disabled during this
period (msg, rmsg, messages, showmsg, whatever). At the end,
after a brief check to make sure all seems to have gone well,
we will turn on the new messaging system which is under the
verb MSG.

Many new features are involved in the new MSG system, all
of which will be visible if you just enter MSG and read.
Here's a few of them:
- folders
- searching for messages
- searching for messages by who they're from
