new God(s)

We Gods have decided that new Gods are needed to make our parties
in the Garden more lively. Therefore, we are going to be
taking applications for the position of God. This is mainly a
role position (as are most of the Gods), and you will have
some leeway in deciding what sort of God or Goddess you want to be,
if you are accepted.
This is the way it will work:
1) Only characters with over 200 hours of playing time may apply. I
will simply throw out applications from anyone with less time.
2) Write a short essay on why we should accept you as a God or
Goddess.
3) Mail said essay to sarapis@achaea.com.
I and the other Gods will then be going through the submissions to
narrow the field down (if necessary). Those who remain will be
interviewed by two or more Gods/Goddesses, and then we will
make our final choices. There are no specific number of positions
to be filled, and if we end up deciding that no one would make a
suitable God or Goddess, then no one will be appointed.
Do not ask what we want in a Deity. Part of being an acceptable
candidate is knowing what would be expected of you as a Deity.
Further, we will alert those whom we wish to interview, and
of course the actual appointment will be recorded for posterity. So, do not
ask if you were chosen or not, and if you are not, do not ask
why, as our reasons are our own.
Penned by my hand on the 19th of Glacian, in the year 207 AF.
