The Weave's loose threads

It's been some time since we've reported on the state of the
loose threads in the Weave. Today I remedy that sad state!

(summary below)

Fronck and his Furniture staff have been officially admonished
for certain hanky panky related to Furniture Relocation. Turns
out that they issued some relocation tokens which, when they
redeemed, ended up relocating some items totally unrelated to
the originals! After recovering from the initial shock, the
concerned parties helped uncover the problem and all has been
resolved.

What's the upshot for you? If you buy furniture relocation
tokens and then destroy your house with the furniture in it,
your tokens are also going to go away. So don't do that!

Out of body experiences have been found to cure voyria. Yes, odd
as it may sound, some of those whose soul and body lose coherence
have found that this unpleasant condition had one beneficial
side-effect: voyria was cured in the process! A team of
investigators uncovered the source of this problem and have
removed it, hopefully forever. In short, you can't cure Voyria
by having an out-of-body experience.

Those in bedrooms gained a few more elements of their near-
perfect privacy today as MARKWHO, HELP CITY <cityname>, and
HELP HOUSE <housename> no longer reveal their presence.

Iconic shards originally appeared directly on our plane without
announcement or herald. It was found too onerous a burden for
adventurers of Achaea to use their eyes to seek out these soon-to-
be-valuable shards, so now Iconic shards appear with great
fanfare and excitement (well, not really, but you won't have
to look any more).

Those attempting to review information about city shops found
that, at first, they were able to see too much, including
city-wide reports about shops in other cities. Then they found
they could only see city-wide reports about their own cities,
but individual shop owners could only see their own shops if
these shops were in their own city. Then these poor shopowners
could again review their own shop info, but uncitizened shop
owners could not. Now all should be able to see exactly what is
proper in each case, and nothing more. Or so we hope!

Enterprising practitioners of Hypnosis could formerly suggest
ACTions, acTIOns, AcTiOns, and other such variations, and avoid
the limitations otherwise present in their art. No more!

Scytherus relapses had become a potent form of attack in the
hands of ingenious kaido deliverers. Imagine the surprise when
you cause (by various arcane means) your intended target to be
afflicted with Scytherus, and at some later point the scytherus
relapses, resulting in your OWN death and, likely, the diabolical
laughter of your gloating former target! Yes, this strange
practice has been detected and remedied.

Confused denizens in villages across Sapience found, for a time,
that they were simply too angry to express themselves coherently
in their attempts to disparage, insult, and cast aspersions on
their well-known enemies - the addle-pated adventurers that
repeatedly aggressed against them and their fellow villagers.
This state exists no more, as villagers have again found their
way straight to abuse, attack, pejorate, despise, and otherwise
maltreat their enemies.

Some found they were able to join XP EVENTS, even when none were
active. One wonders why this would even be tried, or what
nefarious purpose would be served by so doing. The answer to these
and other related questions must wait, perhaps forever - the
attempt to join XP EVENT when none is active will no longer succeed.

Eyes playing tricks on you? Dropping things on furniture, the
floor, and other interesting surfaces, and finding that things
seem to jump around, get lost, or appear out of nowhere? We noticed
that too. After quizzing various pusillanimous pixies and other
puissantn presences in the vicinity, we have determined the source
of the difficulties and negotiated a mutually-acceptable resolution
to the situation. Rest assured that these mysterious occurrences
will transpire no longer.

Summary:
- If you buy furniture relocation tokens, be sure to use them
BEFORE you remove the rooms where your furniture started out.

- Voyria is no longer cured by qq/quit or connection loss.

- If you're in a bedroom you should no longer show up on
MARKWHO, HELP CITY ... or HELP HOUSE ...

- Iconic shards now have a message indicating their appearance.

- CITY SHOP INFO now should work properly for all
even if you have no city, or own shops in other cities

- Hypnosis suggestions of ACTION should not benefit from
variations in capitalisation of the term AcTiOn.

- Village Denizens are now able to emote towards their enemies.

- You can't join an XP EVENT if one is not active.

- Dropping things on the floor and putting them on furniture
will now show up properly.
