Bardic and Artisanal Contests

We're going to try something a little different for the July contests.
Not the ones that are currently running right now -- you can still
submit for those as normal till the end of the month. But through the
month of July, we'll be running themed Bardic/Artisanal contests.
What does this mean? It means that we will provide you with an
Achaea-related topic or theme for that month. These may range anywhere
from geographical areas, to historical periods, to groups of denizens,
to Achaea-specific concepts. Any Bardic and Artisanal entries submitted
during that month must relate to that theme for consideration. One theme
for both contests. We won't run themed contests EVERY month, perhaps
every other month or even less frequently, so you'll still have a chance
to submit non-themed entries.
Furthermore, winning Bardic entries (Merit and up) during the themed
months will be considered for inclusion into the official canon of
Achaea history.
The first month we're doing this is July. We'll accept submissions all
through July, and the entries will be judged in August. The first theme
is, appropriately enough, Minia and Lodi (including Gorshire).
Penned by my hand on the 24th of Daedalan, in the year 395 AF.
