Weaving and reWeaving

- Numerous class/guild loyals had, for unknown reasons, persisted
in their now-misplaced loyalties even after their masters left
their class or guild. Such absurd combinations as snakes loyally
following Monks, or Golems standing guard over unimprinted groves
have been noted with interest. This practice should now have come
to an end, doubtless to the endless relief of Achaeans of all
kinds.
- Voicecraft's cantata ability should now rightly identify who is,
and who is not, losing his shield, or not!
- Eggs in egghunts now disappear from both cities and city sewers.
This has been mentioned frequently before recent egghunts, but
deserved re-mentioning. HELP EGGHUNTS also reflects the change.
- Endless pluralisations have been ironed out. We realise that
this is not earth shattering to most. The majority don't mind
seeing '2 wolfs stand here' or '3 war witchs' or even '2 deck of
tarot cardss.' Those of you that DO mind might find it interesting
that we have added special handling for a very large number of
cases, not only for the ones mentioned, but for both simple
(goose/geese, mouse/mice, child/children, deer/deer, man/men,
words already plural, dwarf/dwarves, and -ity/-ities) and the
rather subtly complex ( a deck of tarot cards - 2 decks...,
a green shirt adorned with pearls - 2 green shirts ..., and
others equally arcane). We may not have seen the end of all such
oddities, but we hope that they have been greatly reduced.
- handling of multiple pikes in a room should no longer collapse
them into all having a single person's head upon them.
- Yes, it is now "An egghunt ... has been started" (not A egghunt).
- Various fixes related to leadership and challenges, so that points
are gained consistently, not lost for out-of-challenge deaths,
and so the maximum number of gained soldiers is correct. Special
thanks to those of you who gained dozens, or even scores of such
followers, motivated only by your desire to 'help us test out'
the new system.
Penned by my hand on the 6th of Phaestian, in the year 385 AF.
