This Saturday, October 30, at 6 pm GMT (that's 2 pm Eastern time, 11 am
Pacific time), there will be the first land auction Achaea has ever
held. We will be auctioning off a few pieces of land outside of
subdivisions where you may build a house, though the house will be twice
as expensive to build as normal.

The auction will be a GOLD auction, so bring your wheelbarrows. We may
have other land auctions for either gold or credits in the future, but
these will be rare events. We don't want to 'pollute' the landscape with
an inappropriate # of player dwellings.

The auction format will be a straight up bid system. All winners must be
able to pay up at the end of the auction. If you bid more than you have,
the auctioneer is going to hurt you.

This is a rare opportunity to own property outside of a subdivision.
