Scarlatti

I'm sad to announce that he will no longer be with us. We don't usually
explain why a God goes inactive, so as not to jar the fiction too much,
but as we've had quite a few complaints about something he did recently,
I'll explain.

Scarlatti had decided that he wanted to marry a mortal. This is,
obviously, totally inappropriate. Gods do not marry mortals. After being
told his, he went ahead and did it anyway, calling it a "Handfasting
ceremony."

Scarlatti will be missed as a builder, as he was a fantastic one, but
openly flaunting my wishes is not a bright idea, and it definitely makes
one unsuitable for Godhood.

The role of Scarlatti will not go away, but there will be nobody playing
him until a Demi-God that wishes to play the God of the Arts is ready to
take the role over.

I apologize for the inconvenience and trauma I know this causes some of
you (like the mortal he wanted to marry, and his order members, and so
on) but it had to happen.

Penned by my hand on the 2nd of Glacian, in the year 370 AF.
