Letters sealed with a signet ring now have a new feature!
The first person to read the letter breaks the seal. Others
who look at or read the letter afterwards will see that the seal
has been opened, though the inner signature/seal will still remain.

That's the new (alternate) way to seal a letter. You must have a
signet ring. The signet ring must be emblazoned. You must possess
a candle and a tinderbox.
