New CONFIG option: VOTEREMINDER

The way you will be receiving reminders to vote, in game, has
changed recently in a couple of useful ways.
Before I explain, I'd like to tell you why we ask you to vote.
Achaea is, and remains, free, partly because we get such a great
influx of new players without having to pay a lot to advertise for
them. Some of those new players decide to support Achaea by purchasing
credits, and that helps us pay the bills, get faster hardware, and
improve the game in many ways.
We get these new players in large part because of our visibility on
the topmudsites website (where we ask you to vote).
Many players continue to play for free, and that's fine. You don't
have to spend any money here to have a lot of fun in a growing world.
So we ask you to vote. It only takes a few moments. It doesn't really
cost you anything, and it helps the game you are playing.
Yes, we know that some players have decided that they will never vote
because we have the audacity to remind them. May these people be
blessed throughout their lives with friends who treat them with exactly
the same attitude of friendly helpfulness!
Now to the new command: CONFIG VOTEREMINDER.
Type CONFIG if you ever forget what the options are.
Type CONFIG VOTEREMINDER to see something about how to set this.
Then set the frequency of reminder that you want, from 1 - 12 hours.
You should never be reminded to vote for the first 12 hours after
your most recent vote. Then after that, you'll be reminded every
1 - 12 hours, depending on your CONFIG VOTEREMINDER settings.
Thanks to you all who help us out, supporting the game we all love
and play. For you we have the same wish: may you be blessed throughout
your life with friends who treat you with exactly the same attitude
and friendly helpfulness!
