There seems to be a misconception that if you quit class while an
apprentice to join another class that has an identical skill, you'll get
your lessons back or the skill will be raised. This is not true. If you
are fully-classed, you'll get about half your lessons back when you quit
the class, and then when you join a new one (must be the first one you
join) that has an identical skill you'll get the equivalent of what you
had in that skill before added to the skill.
