blessings

Some of you, particularly a few of you on AOL, have remarked that
although you helped us out and voted for us, you didn't get the
blessing. Unfortunately, at the moment, there's nothing we can do about
it. The problem seems to be that with some ISPs (and often not with all
their customers for some reason), the IP address that you use when
browsing the web has no relationship to the IP address you use to
connect to Achaea. Somehow your ISP is doing something funky and giving
you what amounts to separate IP addresses for different activities.

To remedy this, we're going to let you log in with your character name
and password (login to the website that is) and vote that way, but this
will take a bit of time, as we have to rewrite the login code for the
artist/bardic stuff first. It's not working properly either, and we will
use the same code.

So, in the meantime, unfortunately, the only way to tell if you'll get a
blessing or not is to actually vote. (And once again, thanks for helping
us with the voting. We're ranked #1 now!)

Penned by my hand on the 23rd of Scarlatan, in the year 315 AF.
