forging prices

Malaclypse,
There were many people ignoring the forging price fix from day one, and they came from all groups of knights - Paladin, Rogue, AND Infernal. Thing is, who would report them? When you can save 3k on a chainmail suit, would YOU send a message to one of the Guildmasters saying that so and so was trying to sell the goods too cheap to you? If you want a pricefix to work, you need a better mechanism than punishment to ensure the prices are adhered to, otherwise it will never work.

Incidentally, Rogues were the biggest outright ignorers of the Pricefix, but the other leak was due to the clause stating you could sell cheaper to friends and allies - namely, people in your own city.

I write this cos its similar to what we've tried with herbs in the past, with similar problems. Hopefully it will help you come up with a workable system sometime, for I understand full well the frustration involved in seeing people selling their guildmates out at ridiculous prices.
