Heyla Everybeast!
I wish to post once again on the miraculous events which have revealed this paradise to us. After having been blown far out to sea I discovered Ulangi. I was marooned there for a short time until Lord Caspian arranged a rescue. To Him I once again owe my very existance.
I would therefore like to clarify that Caspian was the first God to mark Ulangi, and all may offer to the Greatness of the Ocean Lord just off the western shore near the coral reef. The forests, bogs and underground are as yet unable to be planted with our conventional species of flora due to the extreme distances involved. I trust the Gods may in time intervene and reveal to us a way of transporting our beloved plants to Ulangi.
With regards to claiming a chunk of this island for ourselves, I would suggest we first get to know the native people. The Grooks in the village are led by one Oorangu The Wise, a grook Magus of some power. They have an academy there and I was told that Oorangu will teach anyone who wishes to learn from him. In this respect I believe he is similar to Onorol the healer in Shastaan.
Inside the volcano's crater there is a Hive of fierce Horkval warriors. Their Queen is really quite friendly, and has a prediliction for Pheasant. The Horkval and Grook do not seem to coexist well. I believe they may be at war, or at least having the odd skirmish from time to time.
The first person I met upon landing on this strange locale was Serach, an ancient Sentinel whom I have never known. He keeps a grove on the southeast side of the island. A group of Sentinels (Fuu, Keerlin, Aslan, some others I can't remember ~sorry guys~ and myself) helped him bring forth a Ritual of Renewal that first night. The forests were granted a rush of new energy. Mayhap this will allow us to grow harvestable plants on the Island.
I must once again send thanks to Lord Caspian and the Sentinel Pack for a timely rescue. Remember, you may offer to the Ocean Lord off the eastern shore. Good hunting and please...treat the land with the respect it deserves.
Still Listing to Port, now with a breached hull,
