Sorcerers

For all of you out there considering one of the new magic wielding
guilds, I'd seriously consider joining the Warlocks or the Magi
excepting the Sorcerers.
Aside from bad management of the guild, and poor thinking and
communications, the Sorcerers also feel the need to brand low
ranking members as what they are in such a manner as to humilate
them, by pointing out their low rank.
Furthermore, the guild feels the need to put players who've already
established themselves and they're surroundings in the guild on
probation despite any all credit, gold, and help that they've
previously donated to the guild as a whole.
Quite aside from those complaints the Sorcerers claim to adhere to
a set of rules, the complete list of which is located inside the
Guild hall, which in any case is locked to low ranking members,
at least until they have the appropriate sub skill to return them to
the guild, somewhere around Expert level.
Since most of the newer people within the guild will never buy credits
or never attain the sub skill necessary to return to the guild hall,
this makes reading the guild rules on a whole impossible, especially
owing that all new members are on probation and can't read the guild
news even. Thus most members of the guild don't have a good idea as to
what the guild rules are other than when they are inducted and have
them repeated to them at that time.
Owing also, that all members of the guild must have a mentor as a rule
and since there are only 4 or 5 people in the guild capable of mentoring
anyone, this is somewhat difficult.
Shrug, this is your choice people, join a guild with bad leadership at
it's head or join another guild with the same skills and powers and
better leadership.
Penned by my hand on the 15th of Glacian, in the year 259 AF.
