Essay on Chaos

It is the fate of those who toil at the lower employments of life, to be driven by the fear of war, rather than bear witness to its wholesome fruits, to be exposed to criticisms without hope of praise, to be disgraced by misrepresented terms, punished for neglect, where success would have been without applause and diligence without reward.

Among these unhappy mortals is the writer of treaties, whom mankind has considered, not a student, but a slave of peace, the pioneer of lost causes, doomed to remove the violence and strife between those locked in eternal battle, without bestowing a smile on the humble wretch that facillitates progress through war. Every other author may aspire to praise, the writer of the treaty can only hope to escape the angry, and even this negative comensation has been granted to the very few.

When I first took a survey of past treaties, I was appalled to find not the treaties themselves but rather the confluence of responses, copious of speech, energetic without order and rule: wherever I turned my view, there was perplexity and confusion made out of boundless variety, without any established principles of debate, filled with adulterations of logic, laden with misused concepts, and dripping of the blood of vengeance not able to be taken on the corpse-ridden grounds north of Thera. This amazing display of perpetual ignorance, especially in the recent debate on the treaties, intrigue me, as it forces arguments rather than resolving them. The counter-productive usage of treaties thus adds to the theories of Chaos, of which my life has been entrusted and dedicated.

Having no assistance but from general grammar and knowledge of man's incompetance, I applied myself to the perusal of these records. In stating my beliefs on the issue, adding to the waste of all the previous posts before me, I have devoted this article, the intense labour of the painstaking ten minutes, to the pursuit of knowledge through Chaos, for no other forms can exist. Its sole purpose, to discuss the effects of Chaos on war, the absense of a need for treaties.

Furthermore, I hope to confuse the readers who hope to draw a logical conclusion from this, for if I perplexed you with my criticisms of what I defend, my support for what I wish to take down, and the apparant contradictions strewn across this post, I have succeeded. But in the infinite forests of wisdom, no stone shall be left unturned once certain events take place, concerning a priestess, a traitor, and a scholar. Such will be the way of the future, as long as Chaos is still accepted.

So write your armstices, fight your wars, and create the mass carnage and violent messes of human dismemberment that I have seen spread out across the battlefield of this message board, for all chaos is found in the almighty Eris, who is watching. Let Eris bestow her blessing onto you, and through Chaos may you find knowledge. Chaos be with you......
