The Cauda Rubra will be hosting its first Ritual Duelling Tournament within Ethermere, bringing this art back into the public eye. For an explanation regarding Ethermere and how to get there, please see public post #22118.

The tournament shall take place roughly upon the 10th of Mayan, year 967 AF.


What is Ritual Duelling?
------------------------

It is a captivating technique that blends the thrill of combat with artistry, finesse, and creativity. Easy to grasp yet rich in creative potential, it offers both challenge and is quite fun. This version of Ritual Duelling is slightly adapted but remains similar to past concepts.


How It Works:
-------------

- Duels will be 1 vs 1.
- An organiser will oversee each match.
- Duels will consist of an average of three rounds.
- A coin toss will determine who acts first.
- Participants will choose how they wish to act, simply defined as: Attack, Defence, or Break.
- Once selections are submitted, the organiser will signal when to proceed.
- For a more detailed explanation or any queries, feel free to reach out, I'm happy to assist. Spectators are welcome to attend, and gambling books will be open for entertainment.


Participation:
--------------

If you wish to compete, send me your name, and I will add you to the list. Participants of any age, skill, or rank may sign up. However, children may only participate with formal approval from a parent or guardian.

For any that participate, it is often advised to have your techniques prepared beforehand in order to ease any self-inflicted anxiety, as well as avoid any unnecessary and lengthy mishaps.


Prizes:

The prize pool stands at 50 credits, distributed as follows:

1st place a"30 credits
2nd place a"15 credits
3rd place a"5 credits
