RIDDLE 4:
------------

Across the winding river you will find,
Rolling hills spread out yet confined.
Though tranquil, it is not,
With a well filled with plots long forgot.
Step down quickly but carefully; make not a sound,
Least by its skittering residents you be bound.
Deeper below you must go,
Dodging fiends and their blows.
To the west, another tale of doom and sorrow,
But that journey for another day, perhaps tomorrow.
Continue forward to where life miraculously blooms,
Though few will recall it also entraps doom.
Skip past the flora, though but once in this span!
Least you find yourself among those that hate demands.
Continue to the forgotten scars,
To where the dead ends upon petrified bars.
Long ago imprisoned, hatred festering within,
Their hand that caused one of the greatest of sins.
