Dear Hashan.
I am writing this post to bid you all farewell and kindly inform the current leadership and the respectable Lord Twilight that I am moving forward in my life.
I appreciate your care and guidance throughout my stay with you after my escape from the Pygmy Dungeon. I valued your fair and equal protection afforded to all your citizens, including myself over the hundred plus years that I remained a loyal citizen.
Your past vision and ideals inspired me in body and soul to serve you with my every being and to the best of my abilities in building and growing a resilient city, the Court of Shadows. Under the leadership of the Hashani Council, once led by Valkyn, Regi, Asmodron, and Krizal did I see it flourish.
But alas it took only two individuals to change all that. With a snap of their fingers, Mezghar and Adrik have branded me as traitor on grounds of harassment, due to my latest adventuring hobbies and seafaring activities, and thus regarded me completely dispensable, despite my long dedicated service to the city.
As a former Peer of Hashan I do not simply forget Hashan, and I will move forward with newfound purpose. Change is never easy, but I take with me experiences, memories and friendships that I will cherish forevemore. Some day I might reminisce fondly, but now I shall move on in the name of progress, to another house and another city that that I will serve with the same passion I displayed when I called Hashan my home.
Perhaps one day, when the Court of Shadows reviews my enemy status and affords me the opportunity to reverse this, may I walk your streets again, freely and without judgement.
Until that day comes. Farewell and ever forward Hashan!
