Once again Cyrenians show their lack of education and penchant for only seeing what they wish to see.
There is a story behind the bloodlust you accuse the Tsol'teth of (it's funny you can do this while feeling perfectly within your rights to terrorize settlements of people to increase your power in order to become a dragon).
Likewise, if you cared to learn anything about them, you'd know they have long worked to overcome the instability that has plagued their race and caused many of them to descend into madness. You'd know one of their primary purposes for coming to the surface was to obtain samples, to further stabilize their bloodlines. They've even developed non-fatal ways of collecting samples. Unsurprisingly, many of your citizens were found lacking and thus subjected to reprocessing.
The story of the Tsol'teth is one of a people who refuse to surrender or to consider any obstacle insurmountable in their quest for the advancement of their race. They are a people who have spared no effort in solving the problems they have been faced with. They had the power and the ingenuity to create a God for themselves.
You still refuse to accept that we must find ways to coexist with the Tsol'teth, but whether you acknowledge it or not, they are here to stay.
Certainly, they are not a peaceful people. They are called the Tsol of War for a reason.
But peace doesn't lead to progress - quite the opposite. What is a greater spur towards advancement than conflict? Has not Cyrene changed and grown as a result of the crucible you went through at the hands of the 'teth? Your army has taken the first steps towards respectability with several forays into Mhaldor and Hashan, some of them even successful. This was a thing unheard of for centuries.
And yet you mourn the days of peace, the days of stagnation, of being nothing.
By the way, while I know you love your revisionist history, recall that many Hashani were present during the Tsol'teth "demonstration", attempting to prevent the occupation. But of course, blind hatred leaves you no room to consider anything but a target to blame your losses on.
