Is that all Ashtan is now? Words? I, personally, have spoken to quite a few people who have left the Seat. Also a few who still reside within it's walls. And the problem with Ashtan lies not in its creed nor in the Will of Chaos. But in its very mortal leaders. The many of you who are not only related to one another (Nepotism anyone?), but also complacent and unwilling to be the change you so often claim to represent. Ashtan is lost. Possessing of a regime that seems doomed to repeat the mistakes of its past. How long are you going to keep trying the same things over and over before you figure out that it is not working? So I, like many others before me, left. Left to find a home is another city where perhaps they feel more like a team.
And I was set on joining one when the Lady Pandora summoned me. And inquired why I left the Seat. After speaking with Her, She asked the same thing the Court did when I approached them. Why I dont change leadership myself? And the truth is, I don't feel like I am deserving.
Her response "What does anyone 'deserve', Azra, except for what they take for themselves? You rely too much on others, without the spark that makes a leader solve the problem themselves."
And She is right. Thanks to the Lady Pandora, the ember of my purpose has flared anew. So I will do just that. And if Ashtan won't change willingly, Then I will force it to. May Chaos act through me as I force CHANGE upon the Seat.
I was going to keep this all to myself and make inquiries quietly, build up a rapport with like minded individuals. Then rejoin and contest an Archon Position. But Amanda's words have roused something greater in myself. And I realize that that is not enough. If leadership is the problem, then All of it needs to change.
So I call upon the cityless. I call upon those of you who have felt unwelcome, and undervalued in the Seat of Chaos. I call upon those of you who still reside in it's walls and wish so desperately for something to change but are afraid to act for fear of retaliation. I call upon the enemies of the Seat, for even they wish for Ashtan to be better than it is, To be a challenge. I call upon everyone who wishes for Ashtan to be the force of power it once was and is tired of waiting for it. The time to act is now.
