Everyone,

In celebration of Nature's Jubilee, Festival of Wild Wonders we invite
you all to participate in the following event. I wish you all the best
of luck searching through the various wild areas of Sapience.

This was inspired by our Wildwalkers clan, they who quietly patrol,
replant, extinguish fires, and rejuvenate the natural world around us,
each and every year. Thank you for your dedication Walkers!

My apologies for the lateness of this post, I had trouble tracking
down a transcendent tailor for the embroidery.

Now on to the event details!


Valory's Wayward Scarves
------------------------

Spread far and wide across the areas of Sapience you may encounter
colourful sashes with a vine pattern tied about a limb or rock.
Embroidered on each one is the name of the event, so as to avoid any
confusion, they will have flame sigils attached so they remain in
place.

Your task, should you accept the challenge this event provides, is to
find as many sashes as you can and report them to me in a letter.

** Please Note: Some prizes will only go to the first complete and
correct submission received, any after that will drop to a prize
on the next available tier below. DO NOT, send multiple letters! **


Prizes are tiered, for correctly reported scarf sightings:
- 5 scarves = 500 gold
- 10 scarves = 1,000 gold
- 20 scarves = 5,000 gold
- 25 scarves = 10,000 gold
- 30 scarves = 5 credits ***
- 35 scarves = 10 credits ***
- 40 scarves = a Sceptre Gem ***

Example of prize pay-out:
- Participant 1 finds and reports 12 scarves, prize 1,000 gold!
- Participant 2 finds and reports 19 scarves, prize 1,000 gold!
- Participant 3 first to find and report 40 scarves, prize a Septre
Gem!
- Participant 4 second or later to find and report 40 scarves,
prize 10,000 gold!

Extra Prize!
- The Participant with the most interesting "Odd thing" note will
receive an extra credit, on top of their prize. (You can't use the
one I did below.)
- All participants will receive an event sash, please note your
choice on your submission.

Rules:
1. You have until the 25th of Valnuary, of this year, to find as many
scarves as you can. Though there are benefits to doing so quickly!
2. A report in the following format should be written and mailed to me.
Messages confirming mailing are highly encouraged, as sometimes the
birds get lost and confused, and to better claim your prize!

PS: Don't ask me what areas or zones to look in, the fun is in the
search! Yes, I know I messed up, they were supposed to be scarves, but
I picked the wrong pattern, just roll with it.
