Dear child, the bird of paradise quest, which you were speaking of can be done by also killing the bird. Although I think it is much nicer to not kill the bird, some folks might not realise that it is possible to do it without slaying the animal. It didn't matter either way because the quest was done before you got to the bird.

Also, I would recommend that you do some research into how to properly write a news posting.
