the sins of one man

One of our brothers in the Paladins guild has done a horrible and spiteful thing. Tharken, a templar of old, has taken it upon himself to erect a shrine in Ashtan. His motives remain his own. I havent spoken with him about it, but he knew better and I can only imagine that he did it to hurt the Paladins and stir up trouble for us. I doubt he had any designs on doing Ashtan any harm in any way with one wooden shrine. Upon getting confirmation of this from three witnesses, I promptly expunged him from the Paladins. He is from now on a rouge Paladin and not our responsibility. Dingo was kind enough to rip the shrine up from its foundations and I personaly offered to sacrifice my life to appease the city fathers of Ashtan.
Thraken the resonsibility of the Paladins at the time, and that means me... so, if anyone has a problem with this incident after his outguilding and the removal of the shrine- take it up with me personally. I refuse to let the actions of one man rekindle a war. I choose to take any punishment he would deserve from the city of Ashtan.
Take care Achaeans, and take care of each other
