Dear Everyone,
While I realize that I have been posting often, this is a message I feel I need to tell.
Recently I sparred with Mish, and we talked for a long time. She was honorable, truthful, and intelligent. She told me that my earlier posts had offended a number of people.
I am a priest, and I am proud of my guild and of all of its members. However, that is not justification of a poorly thought out argument. It is also not a good basis for decrying others whom I have never met.
Here I must only cite my inexperience as the cause of misunderstandings. I have no clear picture of how the war began. I do not understand many of the interactions that caused it or that occur daily now. I was not considering both sides of the issue.
So, I would say to Mish that you havehelped me realize there are two sides to every story. To Laergon and Morel I must say that your actions towards me yesterday were uncalled for and unappreciated. While I have been using the fact of the war as an excuase, I will do so no longer. We are each responsible for what we do, war or not. I will stop judging others until I meet them, and have reason for my opinions.
If I have upset anyone by this post, I can only say that I realize now I was not cut out for fiery rhetoric. I want only to help bring peace. The War must end eventually, and the sooner the better.
I am, as I said, proud of my church and my guild. I have never met a group as caring and helpful.
To the Occultists whom I have fought, good battle, but I will be laying down my mace for now. However, as always, while opposed to violence I will not be reticent if it is called for. Please stop defiling the shrines in Shallam. Please do not attack unarmed people. These things will help peace to come.
