If I only was a criminal
Then I wouldn't have to wait
For things that I didn't have
For things I wanted
These gifts that Sarapis forgot,
That the earth did not yield
The tragedy of being good
The curse of being poor
This life
This singular existence
Is all I have,
Is all I can give,
IS all that anyone could take
But who would want it?
This vulgar life,
These years of nothing.
If only I was a criminal
I coudl steal a life
life worth dreaming about
life worth stealing...
