Delusional Denigration

Written by: Zorina Visindi, Starforged Martyr

A ghost of what was
Is all that we will ever be

Our lives shattered
because you
Felt as if I didn't matter
Denied and forgotten

But I hear you shouting
In to the void
Of what was forgotten
I hear your murmuring
As if your memories
Of our time
Are somehow different
Than mine.

Why lie?
Why ruin what was once
So beautiful?
Because I wanted to Progress?

Why deny our friendship
Our love
Our children
Because I demanded more
And you refused to see it?

We are but ghosts of that love.

Find the light.

It's time to move on.

Penned by my hand on the 1st of Phaestian, in the year 929 AF.
