Regret

Waking from the dream I lived in
Already sunken too deep in grief
A small hole was carved inside myself
The day you left this world
Now it's grown to big to hide
And it's nearly swallowed me whole
I can't go on like this anymore
Living in a dream , a lie
Though your spirit lingers I miss your touch
Never to be felt again
One thing led to another
How can I ever forgive
How can I ever forgive
I know it's been a long time past
I should've done more when I had the chance
So I'm sorry too
And I miss you
If only you could come back...

In loving memory of Thyira
one of the only few joys in my life, now gone away forever...

Penned by my hand on the 21st of Ero, in the year 372 AF.
