Castles

Empty castles
Lonely halls
See the writings on the wall
Dead and craving
Spurned and twisted
Gold-spun tapestries flung on this did
Shadows play
Fingers weaving
With memories is the castle seething
Lying await
Dutifly mourning
Empty hands feel the dawning
Dark caress
Seductive pain
Love the sunlight with no gain
Someone comes
Filling space
Bringing life back to castle place

Penned by my hand on the 18th of Daedalan, in the year 372 AF.
