You

The stars shine down upon the land,
Lending you their company
As you forge your way across the plains
In your neverending exploration.

A quiet man, you are.
You've never raised your voice
Except maybe, perhaps, to share a witty comment
And make another smile.

You care not for the ways of the world
Reveling instead in quiet simplicity.
Riches and gold are meaningless
As are the ambitions of men.

You think that you go unnoticed on your way,
But the moon smiles down upon you.
And the one you have let into your heart
Is awaiting your return to her arms.

Penned by my hand on the 6th of Mayan, in the year 371 AF.
