| You unveiled my raven eye betwixed with inner pride, |
| Made me undivided and completed my complacent mindseye, |
| Your self-sacrifice and love is fervent acuity, |
| It was peace you saw and it is peace you fast, |
| Your stance is unwavering true to your ideals that last, |
| For ebony cannot see the entirety of the ivory, |
| It is with the dove that things shade into clarity, |
| Black without white was so easy for me, |
| But with you in me everything I see, |
| I see through shades of grey. |
