Lady Demeter

Written by: Hashan's Adorable Kopriana Dalaran, Lady of Wizardry
Date: Wednesday, August 18th, 2004
Addressed to: Everyone

What once brought joy now only brings pain
Since She left, nothing is the same
Where once was love now is empty and cold
Through the trees the wind rustles with tales of old
But the stories of the way things used to be
Are nothing but a fading memory
A thousand tears the ones that loved Her have wept
Over Her Garden an eerie silence has crept
A stale hate lingers for that which drove Her away
Though what it was not many can say
Each day for Her presence I desperately plead
And each moment without Her my heart does bleed
So long have lamented the ones who love Her
The Lady Demeter, beloved Teacher and Mother

Penned by my hand on the 19th of Daedalan, in the year 371 AF.
