Sorry bout that last poem, the one most of you didn't see cause I
retaliated on it *grin* it was just too happy, and therefore not meant
to be. Here's another one of my customarily sad poems, only this one
means more to me than anything.

I can't say what happened to us
I can't say why you've changed
I can't say if it was only lust
All I can say is that my heart is maimed
I can't say why you chose her
I can't say I'll ever believe you again
I can't say anything for sure
Either way, I know you'll win
I can't say that I saw this coming
I can't say I'll ever be alright
I can't say it's not surprising
And I can't say that I won't fight
I can't say that I ever imagined
That you would lie about loving me
I can't say I see why you fashioned
An elaborate web of deceit
I can't say why we fell apart
Just when everything was fine
I can't say why you let this start
And let me think that you were mine
I can't say that I can stop the tears
I can't say I'll ever find true love
I can't say I'll be able to conquer my fears
I can't say it's not you I'm thinking of
When every night I cry myself to sleep
I can't say it's not important
So I can't say I won't keep
Trying to change this, I shan't
I can't say I'm glad we ever happened
I can't say you're worth this pain
I can't say I don't want to pretend
But I can't let you break my heart again
