The Gods have been most kind
For I happened to find


A rare friend
I shall have in my heart til the end

From the Heavens above
I was granted with this love

Of tender feline eyes
I was fully mesmerized

I dared not touch the face
That seems of silken lace

For fear my hand would break
This dream I have and wake

Me from the bliss
Without receiving one kiss

Of lips so divine
I had spent my life to find

It is a wondrous pleasure
I dare not measure

For in those eyes alone
And gentleness of tone

I would be lost forever
Though willing to endeavour

Such a glorious fate
To pass through the gate

Begin my life anew
At my side is you
