Barnaishte,
I've provided the most recent report from the Compliance operation on D'marr to this courier. There were also some complaints registered with our office by a couple of Alarstead scholars (Biological Studies and Arts departments). They're probably just the usual protest nonsense, so I haven't included them with this, but we should keep it in mind for the public briefing next week in case we get thrown a twisted horn by the broadsheets. If it comes up, I'll take the lectern and handle it.
Kind regards,
Chair Ilneine

Survey #: 766,544
Location: D'marr (fourth world, Marr system, Prime Material Plane)
Status: Compliance (#132) in progress
Supplementary: Akzahd ore at critical level (estimated recovery unclear)
Summary:
New operations are initiated on the fourth world of Marr. It is identified by survey teams as a former* Bataoac location of the Prime Material** with several promising sites scouted by Plainsbreak under contract to the Second Hall of the Kelstaad.
The Ninth Expeditionary Force on dispatchment to D'marr via Yggdrasil notes a number of Karakhilar of similar form and frame to those of Bilnarn (Compliance #48). Bodies are adapted to the inclement weather. The possibility of contact between the two worlds in the past is rated a high likelihood. No indigenous life is determined to exist on the continent of contact, leading to quick and efficient cleansing of the primary and two secondary sites.
Surveyors have been dispatched to determine suitable drilling locations with minimal chances of wraith or elemental disturbance. Shaped charges were requested and provided by the Fifth Hall (a Magus request was denied by the Seventh Hall). They report a very high chance of reinforcement minerals and likely replacement of Akzahd's operation with D'marr over the coming decade. Despite limited foliage growth at the primary valley site, passage along Karakhilar trails offers transit to the lower jungles where timber is abundant.
Three tertiary sites are currently proposed for logging operations and bastion expansion.
Glory to the Kelstaad!
