ACC applications.

I'm now taking ACC applications. I'm not currently accepting more members from Hashan or Mhaldor, and would only take more Ashtan players if the person was exceptionally qualified. This is due to disproportionate representation from these three organisations as of this time, particularly so in the former two cases. The ACC is the organisation containing players who assist in combat balance (via discussion/testing typically) and we try to keep a roughly even spread of players across the various organisations, typically with limited success.
Applicants should:
- Have a strong grasp of PVP mechanics, ideally both solo and group but an extreme grasp of one is sufficient.
- A good trackrecord with classleads or other combat projects.
- Consistent engagement with the pvp side of the game. Naturally, this comes with a reasonably long amount of playing time: if you're not an established player its best to give it a bit and apply down the line, though I appreciate the enthusiasm.
- Be able to work with others. If you consistently lose your temper we will have words, if you continue doing that you will be asked to leave and not asked back. This is very important: if you do not feel you can do this, please don't apply.
- Objectivity. Noone is completely unbiased, but its important to be able to see both sides of things. A lot of what the ACC does is compromise.
If you think you meet these requirements, send an email to makarios@achaea.com containing:
- Character name (your main, or the list of those you typically main)
- Your real age (if you did not put the real one on the regis, please give the real one. This can be important for certain internal things).
- What classes you play/have experience with.
- Any particular experience you feel you bring to the table in addition to the standard requirements (have you done this in another game, previous QA/testing experience in other field, etc).
- One change you would like to see in the combat space and why.
- One recent change in the combat space you disagree with and why.
