Housing may now be transferred to the ownership of democratic clans!

This will cost you two million sovereigns, and HOUSING TRANSFER TO <clanalias> while standing in the house, or on the plot the house is built on.

The house owner must initiate this process, and the clan owner must be present with the fee to accept the transaction.

NB: This is irreversible, and non-refundable. Clan-owned housing will not be transferred under any circumstances. Should the house on the plot be destroyed, plot ownership will revert to the city to be sold at their discretion. Ownership of non-city plots will be removed entirely.

Housing owned by a clan will work much like normal housing, with all permissions being granted to the owner of the clan to build and destroy as they see fit.

Not available to private homes, however, is the option to set a temporary room owner with HOUSING SET ROOM OWNER <person> for the fee of ten thousand gold. This person must be a member of the owning clan.

For as long as a person remains room owner, they can place furniture as they see fit, edit door permissions for doors coming into and out of their room, and are granted a few other liberties.

Leaving the clan will remove any room ownership assigned.

The assigned room owner cannot edit their rooms in any way, that still falls to the clan head, should they wish to do so.

Room owners cannot upgrade beds to artefact beds, they may place these and the clan owner can apply the upgrade as per HELP BEDS.

As well, clan members will have access to upgrades such as regeneration rooms, stables, and the like.

As these are communal upgrades, a room owner cannot be appointed for a room with these upgrades.
