To celebrate the upcoming festive season, stockings are back again, but no more candycanes!

Stockings are items that you'll be able to purchase from the website and be able to hang up in-game for you or your friends!

Once you've purchased them, you can simply HANG STOCKING FOR ME or HANG STOCKING FOR <adventurer> and it will be placed in the room! You can additionally add ANONYMOUS to the end to give someone an anonymous gift!

Additionally, for every 5 stockings of each type you purchase, you'll receive either a gold or platinum stocking of that tier! So if you purchase 5 fancy stockings, you'll get a gold (or platinum) fancy stocking.

We have also reworked how stocking prizes are handled this year! Each stocking has a target value, and we have a number of prize pools at different credit thresholds. Your stocking will pick an item from the bracket it falls into by stocking type, and if your stocking's target value has some credit value leftover after your bigger prize has been added, this will be filled from prizes at lower credit thresholds. This is an overall increase to stocking value compared to previous years.

Tier 1 includes SoW elixirs, lucrescent nuts, racetrack tickets and more!
Tier 2 includes Mayan crowns, artefact vials, packs, pipes, hats, legend deck card sleeves, and more!
Tier 3 features a range of artefacts including, quivers, fire pendants, and goggles of whitesight!
Tier 4 prizes include lyres, hunter's belts, Mayan bracelets, and beyond!

There is a tier 5, but prizes in this category are only attainable via bonus stockings and the special platinum and golden stockings that fill on Christmas and New Year's Day (2020)! These can contain any of the prizes from tiers 1-4 (corresponding to their original tier), but also items like the wand of portals, gems of transmutation, and more.

These high tier prizes are guaranteed if your gold or platinum stocking is an extravagant one!

Many of the artefacts also have their special Logosmas descriptions from years past!

New to stockings this year are the scintillating gems that form the lavishly bejewelled sceptre!

This sceptre confers passive bonuses when gems have been applied to it, on a per environment basis!

The first attuned gem will form your sceptre and unlock that environment type.

This will confer the level 1 power, a 5% experience bonus when in that environment type.

Two more gems applied to that environment will unlock the 1% bonus to critical hits in that environment.

Three more gems (6 total per environment type) completes the environment slot and will confer a 5% damage bonus to denizens and a 5% resistance to damage from denizens in that environment!

Regular stockings have a chance to give 1 gem, all fancy stockings are guaranteed to contain a gem, grand stockings will hold 4 or more gems, and extravagant will open for 16 or more gems! These gems do not affect the prize value of the stocking.

And if that's not enough, every 150 stockings opened will trigger a bonus stocking in the next 50 to be opened, awarding massively increased prizes!
