Bitterfork

A small village located in the Dardanic Plains, Bitterfork is situated
between the Bitterflow River and the Sapphire Sea, where the river cuts
through the plains towards the ocean. The descendants of the original
crewmembers of a ship serving under the polemarch Amphites that wrecked on
the shore there, the inhabitants of Bitterfork are now farmers and
fishermen. Ruled with an iron fist by Belen, an erratic and powerful
shaman, the village is also home to his notorious Bear Cult. Flocks graze
around the countryside, guarded by shepherds and hunters that protect them
from all manner of predators.
